Strip club to hold charity tournament at Trump golf resort

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/strip-club-to-hold-charity-tournament-at-trump-golf-resort

Washington Post. The golf tournament is organized by local business Shadow Cabaret, a strip club that has described the upcoming tournament as "Miami's sexiest charity event of 2019."

Tickets for the event are available at the rate of $450 for individual players and $1800 for foursomes. There is also a "VIP Upgrades" option for an additional $1,000. The ticket price includes a "Caddy Girl of Your Choice," meals and cocktails for the day, as well as a "special gift." The event was meant to benefit the Miami All Stars, a nonprofit organization that works to promote fitness, nutrition, and education to local youth.

A spokesperson for Shadow Cabaret, Emanuele Mancuso, was clear that the "Caddy Girls" would remain clothed at all times while at the luxury Trump course but back at their home venue would be a "different story." The dancers will reportedly be wearing pink mini skirts and a "sexy white polo" while serving as caddies during the tournament. Mancuso says the dancers and golfers will all return to the Shadow Cabaret after the tournament for a "tasteful burlesque show" that "could" involve nudiMancusoMancuso dismissed the notion that choosing the Trump resort for their tournament was politically motivated, saying that the Trump golf course in Doral is known for its luxury and the players "deserve a VIP environment." He further stated "This is not a political event ... this is not the first time that a gentleman’s club has put on these kind of events and it won’t be the last time."

The 57-year-old golf resort was purchased by Donald Trump in 2012. It hosted a prominent PGA Tour event for many years until 2016. While President Trump maintains ownership of this and other resorts, his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump run the operations.

The Trump Organization confirmed that the event will be held at their resort and that benefiting the Miami All Stars was a "worthwhile cause." However, on Wednesday afternoon Miami All Stars director Carlos Alamilla told the Miami Herald that his charity would not be accepting donations from the event. He claimed that he was unaware that the golf tournament involved a strip club and said, "It’s shocking to me that I’ve been dealing with some people at the striptease club ...To me, it was focused on the golf and the tournament. I was never told that the strip club would be involved in this."

Whether or not Shadow Cabaret will attempt to donate to another charity is not immediately clear.

MIAMI (AP) — The Latest on a golf tournament with strippers as caddies that was scheduled at President Donald Trump's golf resort near Miami (all times local):

President Donald Trump's company has canceled a golf tournament with strippers serving as caddies that was to be held at Trump's golf resort near Miami.

The Washington Post reports Wednesday that the Trump Organization issued a statement saying the event would no longer take place because Miami All Stars, a children's charity that was to benefit from it, had pulled out. The statement said "all amounts paid will be refunded."

The Shadow All Star Tournament was organized by a Hialeah strip club, Shadow Cabaret. The club had advertised on Facebook and its website that the event would be held Saturday at Trump National Doral.

The tournament offered golfers a choice of dancers to be their "caddy girl."

Miami All Stars director, Carlos Alamilla, told The Associated Press that he withdrew Wednesday because he wasn't aware a strip club was involved.

You'd think that the trump doral country club could donate money to support this charity...

Why would the Trump Doral do that when it can operate as it should operate and be a place others can host events~ providing jobs and money for charities. On top, if the Trump Doral just donated to the charity, that gets no-one from the community involved~ there is a use for charity events where members of the community come together and participate for a good cause.

You'd think that the trump doral country club would view this as an opportunity to turn around the bad publicity. After all... how much could it cost to support 40 kids? Even a money losing operation like the trump doral country club could support 40 kids...

Back the community aspect. There is value in bringing members of the community together to raise awareness and money for a good cause.. Hosting a charity event shouldn't be bad publicity either. It's pretty awful for the liberal media to paint hard working women, many who love doing burlesque and their jobs in a bad light.

I'm ok with it too because there is literally nothing wrong with them, nor burlesque for the matter.

What's wrong is others encroaching on others freedoms, pointing fingers, saying it's wrong which in this particular situation serves 2 unjustifiable purposes: 1.) Demeaning a persons chosen career choice by further stigmatizing it as being 'bad' and 2.) Taking potential money away from kids that would have served a good cause.

    ??

40 kids~ potentially affecting 80 parents work schedules and incomes~ potentially affecting numerous siblings. Helping 40 kids could very well benefit hundreds in the community which this event was for.

There is benefit to a charity event, as it involves members of the community. If you can raise the same amount through a lump sum donation, the charity event would be better. Anyways, the Doral is essentially donating as they are offering their club for the event opposed to more lucrative business operations.

Think** the burlesque dancers will talk to their friends about the charity event they are working, the participants, the organizers~ they all spread awareness to others for good causes that a single lump sum donation does not.. and here you are essentially ridiculing it & acting like it's a bad thing.

No, I am ridiculing a charity event at a trump property involving strippers. The charity event supporting 40 kids just adds to this odd trump story.

Could have put them in cages aimrite?

Conservatives love to give tax cuts to the rich while cutting programs that help poor children, and then cry when someone mocks strippers for kids.

Obama put people in cages, aimrite? Do you deny that? Didn't he start the whole 'lets cage people at the border movement' in this modern era? Curious

'Liberals' love to talk about helping people at the border but wasn't it recently Democrats such as Ocasio Cortez who just declared we protest the companies making beds for illegal immigrants at the border for the sole purpose of getting them TO STOP making beds for illegal immigrants at the border? How very liberal to mock 'cages' when you are fighting for them to not even have beds to sleep on. How very liberal to say 'open borders' and then cry foul at the possibility of illegal immigrants coming to your city in mass.

No one made Trump cancel the event, he chose to cancel it.

I think the whole "charity" aspect is fishy anyway. If there is a charity connection its probably a member is a parent of one of the kids on the team. trump's history with charitable events is suspect anyway...

    For example... https://www.forbes.com/sites/danale...charity-money-into-his-business/#51e7048d6b4a

Feminists and actual real liberals should support the right of these women and their choices. Instead people shame them and use them to further cast shame on Trump for political reasons. Meanwhile these same types of people don't actually care about these women, what they do with their bodies, and outside of a political theater wouldn't give two damns.

Plenty of these people complaining would actually call it slut shaming if they saw people they didn't like trying to shut down the charity event or complain there isn't a trans caddy or something just to be bent out of shape about it.
