But it would've worked out in Houston right?

mine haven't really changed much. sure I think we would be better with melo but the rockets were always going to be a good team regardless of which scenario played out once we got cp3. after cp3 they added to the team as if thats who they were going to compete with and improved with that. they didn't wait around til the melo drama ended to make other moves. they operated as is. Our ceiling is a bit lower sure but still good nonetheless.

Rockets have the two best playmakers in the world. The Thunder do not.

Both OKC and Rockets could have injury issues this year. Hope it's not the Rockets but we've been in similar situations over the past few decades where we got nothing but bad luck.

The Rockets won 55 games last year without Chris Paul. The Thunder were a medicore team. There is more evidence that the Rockets will have a better season.

Yeah..... that VORP of .7, WS% of .8 and TS% of .5 is really going to be missed....

God forbid anyone actually break down the tape and delve into his advanced statistics and note that Carmelo Anthony has declined to the point that he is a JAG.

His advances statics are actually as bad/if not worse than a 36 year old Dwayne Wade.

Hey, it is a big name though.... maybe we can talk Kobe into coming back at 40 so we can say we have a big 3 on paper.

There is a reason that the Rockets didn't offer more than they did, and why Cleveland wouldn't deal Tristan Thompson for him.

ESPN and all these other outlets can claim that his value was low because of Phil Jackson. His value was low because he wasn't very good last year and has been on a decline the last 4 seasons.

That doesn't even mention the prospect of him picking up his $25,500,000 option next year at almost 35 years.

The clear cut second best team will always be the Spurs until proven otherwise. Pop is gonna turn Rudy Gay into Scottie Pippen and Kawhi into Michael Jordan.

All this Melo, CP, PG talk is moot. When the season is done you will see

    2.spurs

    Everyone else
