When did Jeep not have problems? Has anyone ever owned a Jeep and not had problems?

They have a notorious rep for having problems...but this gear shift problem is ridiculous. You don't know what setting your gear shift is in when you set it? WOW!

It will be interesting to see if that was the reason or if he had the issue corrected before.

    Wow. That's terrible.

Reminds me of my Mazda airbag recall. I've been waiting 2 years to get it done. Dealerships just don't want to waste the time and money

How does a potentially big problem like this get released onto the roads in large numbers?

Unlike when people are "sad" about 85 year old walking corpses passing away, this is genuinely depressing.

My dad had a badass Wagoneer. I had a Cherokee in college. An old roommate of mine had a Jeep.

They were all the worst car of all time, but I'd still love to own a Wagoneer.

I don't get why a successful actor in Hollywood is driving a Jeep. That's a car/brand for hippie camping types.

So sad to hear. I felt so sad for him in Alpha Dog when he was murdered in a tragic way, and now he has really passed away in a quite tragic way. Weird.

    RIP

There are many in Hollywood who could care less about cars. Marky Mark rocks the mini van.

I once got out of my truck while it was running in neutral. Had to dive head first in to stop it.

A few other times it just fell out of gear and despite having the emergency brake on, it rolled down my driveway into the middle of the road.

BMW and Audi (at least the I had (2014 2016)...both have some kind of rolling stop thing. I once opened the door when the car was in reverse to see if i was straight and it shifted it to park and said not to do that. :)

Walter Koenig has agreed to take back his old role for future movies.

They are going to explain his aged appearance by some transporter accident at the beginning of the next film. He had a little meltdown because his transport took too long and his pattern started to break down in the buffer before they could complete transport. Blame Simon.

That was out of line. I apologize.
