Otis Smith is out as well. What do you think this means with our negotiations with Orlando about Dwight Howard?
Looks like they are doing everything they can to keep Dwight Howard there. Both the GM and coach are gone.
@WojYahooNBA: As expected, Orlando has fired coach Stan Van Gundy and GM Otis Smith. Going to be very interesting to see what the Magic do from here on out. No doubt they'll do all they can to ink Howard longterm, at least one would think.
David Stern will now assume all negotiation responsibilities for the Orlando Magic's star, Dwight Howard. As a result all trades with Houston will be subject to an automatic veto.
I don't see how firing SVG helps them keep Howard on a basketball level. Maybe on a personal level. Though Otis Smith should have been gone long ago.
My respect-o-meter for Dwight just went below the earth core. This cocky ****head is responsible for this mess and the management should've traded him away no matter how good he is.
No surprise SVG is out. A bit surprised that Otis Smith is out as well. Looks like the Magic will do whatever it takes to appease to Dwight and make him stay.
