    As a Vietnamese person, I f with Sriracha.

    I do like Chipotle Tabasco, though....

    I can't really choose one over the other!

    With Mexican food, Tabasco is king. Cholula might as well be koolaid, that sweet n' sour trash. I scoff at waiters at Tex-Mex restaurants when I ask for Tabasco and they say "We also have cholula."

    With Sriracha, they rule Asian/Chinese food. I won't eat Chinese food without it. It's the only thing that makes all that peanut/stir fry flavored stuff tolerable.

    Sriracha on some Shrimp Fried Rice?

    Tabasco is bleh, too vinegary & not spicy, it makes everything just taste like Tabasco. Many superior options out there.

    Sriracha and chili/garlic paste are necessities for all Asian takeout.

    Now this is a thread I can get behind!

    I have about 10 different hot sauces in my pantry but the 3 I use all the time are Siriracha, regular Tabasco and Tapatio. I understand the hate towards Tabasco, it is very watery but on eggs and pizza, it's great. I use Tapatio for Mexican food, which I eat a lot and Siriracha for everything else. So, I think the answer to the question is, it really depends on what you're eating.
