    Thanks for the links.

Had no idea this was out there being discussed. Like others, I was too disgusted to login to the BBS or read anything Rockets related for several weeks after game 6.

Not at all - when a 200lb+ man runs into another 200lb+ man's elbow at full speed, that can rock your world if you catch it just right. I'm a pretty rugged guy and I had 3 ribs broken on a similar play once in a basketball game. In slow motion it doesn't look like much of a collision but when Harden is going full speed, Aldridge is pushing Harden towards Pau and Pau is moving towards Harden to contest - his elbow becomes a pretty serious weapon.

take it easy we weren't going anywhere last year anyway

that's the farthest any other superstar could have carried that cast and a coach who can only plays an 8 man rotation at the most with pbev as starting pg, a raw capela, and dekker and harrell in the rotation

if it weren't for those 2 games, Morey may never have realized that 1 superstar ain't enough to get to the WCFs at least and he want ahead and went all in on a 2nd superstar like Cp3

Of all GMs you think MOREY needed to be taught that he needed more than one superstar?

thats my point.. if anyones to blame that the rockets didn't get farther last year, its morey for his inability to get a 2nd star beside harden

What evidence do you have that disputes this claim unequivocally. Yes, you made a pretty graphic but you haven't disproved anything. What DonKnock did was elevate something that has merit based on other similar hypotheses.

Why does Keith Jones still have a job? Does he have naked pics of Maurye or something?

I never read about any of this at the time and only recently heard about it being a possibility so I went back through the video and took a look.

I’ve had multiple concussions myself and he looks to be in worse shape than I was at any point.

As far as the Rockets and Harden denying it, there is a league mandated protocol that these players are supposed to go through and Harden did not go through that from what I can gather. This means they’re going off of what Harden told them rather than the tests.

    Last season was THE CONCUSSION.
Let this season be THE REDEMPTION.

If that were the case why even Morey and MDA claimed Harden was just gassed? Wouldn't it be easier just to say he was not fully healthy?

Concussion, ankle, whatever. They are all excuses.

The important thing is he worked hard in the offseason and is looking better than ever. Leave the past in the past.

P.S. @Jugdish great chop but I can't like a post that calls Harden a "mental midget." He may not be in the mentally tough elite but he is far from a "mental midget"

P.P.S. the preferred term is "mental little person.";)

Harden stayed in the game and didn’t even get looked at by the trainers. You can see this play out when MDA is talking to the refs to look for a flagrant and Harden is trying to gather himself.

He had to shoot the free throws because if he let somebody else shoot them then he wouldn’t be able to come back into the game.

Since they never even looked at him it would reflect very poorly on them to retroactively announce that the correct precautions had not been taken.

Philly has done this twice in the last year, Embiid played against the Rockets on a torn meniscus and Fultz played the first 5 games this year with the shoulder problem.

Hell even Chris Paul went out there the first game of the season still hurt and hen had to miss all of those games.

excuses for what? excuses for not getting farther with 1 superstar?

you mean the important thing is we actually got another superstar at the same level as harden

unless you expected us to improve without getting a second star first

and yeah singlehandedly carrying a team to 55 wins isn't exacty "mentally tough elite" because look at what lebron did with kyrie and love and the rest of defending champions in the least.. oh wait..

Maybe, maybe not. The league and the org will never discuss or talk about this because it will be horrible PR for us and the league.

Time to move on to this year's playoffs.

This is the sort of thing that no one is going to admit to until Harden is long retired and someone in the know, or Harden himself, admits it if the topic of that playoff series or those games come up in an interview.
