So, long story short my fraternity threw a party last weekend, and some jackoff spray painted the inside of the toilet black. Any idea how to remove it? They've tried bleaching it to no avail.
bleaching...lulz. Yo, frat boys. Guess you weren't paying attention in chemistry class. You need a solvent, not an oxidizer. You're not trying to change the color by changing chromophore bonds, here. You just want to dissolve the paint into solution. You need to steal some benzyl alcohol from the chem lab, brehs. If you can't find it, or were kicked out of chem lab...go to the hardware store and buy something called "paint remover." I know...weird name, but trust me,,,it works. But go ahead and check the active ingredients to make sure it has benzyl-alcohol. Oh, and ... whatever you do, brehs. DON"T DRINK IT!!!
Come on bro, you a real frat or nah? This is a perfect hazing opportunity during pledge week. Make some poor soul lick it off until it's clean white in order to prove his allegiance to your frat.
If I come take one of my patented acrid drain cloggers, I'm sure it'll dissolve it. You may have a different issue, though, after that. I have no idea how to unclog a drain, either.
Don't listen to those dicks they are just gains goblins, nothing wrong with frats. The correct answer is: Toilets have a tolerance built into them for multiple paintings, literally hundreds of them so you can keep it a vibrant white. Just cut the water to the house and flush a couple times to drain. Put a fan on it so it gets completely dry, (very important! use a shop fan or a vornado of some sort) then prime and paint.
You can buy a new toilet for something like $80. You can probably get a used one for $10 on Craigslist. They are easy to install yourself. Buy a new wax ring while you're at it.
