    "FBI Director James Comey argued privately that it was too close to Election Day for the United States government to name Russia as meddling in the U.S. election and ultimately ensured that the FBI's name was not on the document that the U.S. government put out, a former FBI official tells CNBC. [...]

    According to the former official, Comey agreed with the conclusion the intelligence community came to: "A foreign power was trying to undermine the election. He believed it to be true, but was against putting it out before the election." Comey's position, this official said, was "if it is said, it shouldn't come from the FBI, which as you'll recall it did not."

    Incredible. Now I have seen the height of either naivety or stupidity. A person, presumably an American, praising Vladimir Putin's Russia, Putin being a senior KGB operative during the late Soviet Union, for blatant interference in the national elections of the United States. This is a new low by a Trump supporter, something I didn't think possible.

    Apparently liberals believe its ok that the FBI Director should be allowed to go on record and make unsubstantiated accusations against foreign leaders.

    If anyone makes accusations towards liberals, then full proof is required. If proof is achieved, the its acceptable to blame shift the behavior and claim everyone does it.

    You a little angry? Get yourself together. It's embarrassing.

    I find it funny a foreign government is exposing the truth while the media ignores it. That's sad. I'm not defending them, but more so pointing out it's funny that the only defense Hilary's camp has is that it came from Russia while not denying anything because it is true.

    Let's ignore the truth because it came from Russia. Ok.

    The Russians have had nothing to do with any of the leaks. All of this has been from angry FBI/NSA insiders and then a few from pro-Bernie DNC sources.

    Where is your criticism when we try to influence other countries elections. For some odd reason you think its ok for Clinton to interfere with Russias politics but not ok for Putin.

    There's something funny how out media fails to report news. As another poster said, it hasn't been confirmed that it is Russia. They just believe it might be.

    I think is funny liberals ignore the truth because they don't like how it got brought to light.

    How would they 100% confirm it was Russia? A confession? When so many different agencies believe Russia is the most likely source of these attacks, you go with that.

    Who here is defending Trump, sans the couple Trump supporters?

    Liberals fall in line and blindly follow whoever they are told to. There is very little criticism towards Hillary coming from liberals. That is sad. Republicans are very critical of Trump.

    Honestly, liberals really struggle to think for themselves. You all still think Obamacare can work.

    That is quite a trick pulled by the Russians to breach Hillary's impenetrable computer security and then download Hillary's emails and classified information to Anthony Weiner's computer.

    Again I repeat, when everything is said and done, it will become evident for all to see that Russia had zero to do with leaking FBI Suspect Hillary Clinton's emails. This is just another dishonest distraction attempt by a dishonest, corrupt politician. The dam has been broken, Hillary and Obama can no longer put pressure on government agencies (or offer financial incentives) to lie like this -- now they risk being exposed. Don't you love true transparency? Wasn't this was Obama deceitfully promised in the first place? Truly, this is amateurish, third world style corruption that we are seeing come to light.
