    Can't say that.

To me PP is a developing PF at best, while Hill they seem ready to develop at the PF/C and with Yao being injury prone, Hill might be needed quite a bit next season especially if he keeps developing his defense.

Based on the original discussion -- Morey's draft board having Patterson at #6. If we rank based on performance thus far Landry Fields would be top 5. He was a steal for the 2nd round.

PP put in another solid performance in his last game dropping 22 on very solid shooting percentage and adding a nice rebounding performance in.

after the 15th of December, I would be surprised if he last many more games with the Vipers.

let PP play.....? Wont hurt.......if JT can get some burn,PP should be able to sniff the floor too.........it will only help his development and I for one want to see more of the kid.

Sorry guys. He looks like a bust to me. Really no room in our roster for the guy. He just seems like he would be a fooling machine. Doesn't have the height or the gurth to really dominate. Not. Hope I'm.wrong and in the future he proves me.wrong.

I know we have a philosophy about earning minutes, but how often does a lotto pick get zero playing time? Does that happen on other teams?

It's not like PP is a headcase or has bad work ethic.

Even Thabeet got minutes before they sent him to the D-League.

Most teams don't draft lottery players at a position of depth, like the Rockets did (Scola, Hill, Hayes, Jeffries).

WTF you are talking about. He is 6'9" on a solid, solid frame. The physical tools are there for him to become an effective PF. Whether he will realize his potential is still to be seen.

    Size is not a problem.

Depth isn't really an excuse, not when you have a lottery pick not playing.

    Scola-starter 30 mins per game
    Hill-backup center-20 minutes a night
    PP-backup pf-15 minutes a night

Hayes-situational guy. Only get minutes when Hill and PP are getting their ass kicked.
    JJ-glued to the bench.

    ^See? Not that hard...

Which lotto picks this year are playing 15mpg for teams that aspire to make a successful playoff run? None.

Utah[#9] - Gordon Hayward is playing 8mpg and his role has drastically decreased since the beginning of the season.

Thunder[#11 from Hornets] Cole Aldrich hasn't played since November 10th. He was assigned to NBADL 11/24 and recalled 12/6.

There is nothing wrong with PP playing in the D-League if we are hoping to make the playoffs.
