    I played pickup basketball in to my 40's. Just got too sore after playing and quit.

    He is a rookie........ It takes a while to adapt to the league. Some take longer than others to adapt. Try not to knee jerk so much.

    In addition, a demotion to the G League risks further damaging confidence. And even if he shot lights out there it would slow down his NBA learning curve. Better to let him take his lumps as a rook. Also, hindsight :D:D:D
