Should Democratic city leaders follow houston's lead when it comes to voting

Even in the most conservative states, the cities are mostly liberal. Should the city leaders who I assume are mostly liberal do what Houston did and make super easy for people to vote? Look at Georgia and Texas. These are both solidly red states that super competitive because of voter turnout. Should this be the strategy for the democrats moving forward?

I get your meaning, but it seems like the linchpin of the effort to make it easy to vote was the county clerk, Chris Hollins. I don't know how much it was responsible for the high turnout, or if it really helped Democrats. But all state and county leadership should be looking for ways to make it as easy as possible to vote, regardless of which politicians benefit.
