Yeah, it seems to be coming in very small quantities for some reason. I saw a tweet a few days ago from the D&Q Beer Station near Midtown and got the only two packs they had. Hopefully it gets back to the usual mass quantities here shortly...
Yeah, I quit Specs after that ish and I'm checking my bank account every ****ing day. Great job guys! Now I have a limited selection at Krogers and I cannot find Lagunitas anywhere. Pisses me off. I had to go to Woodrows last night for my couple of pints with my mud bugs.
Glad y'all suburban folk have at least 1 reason to live for other than Johnny Football fat heads and lifted Z71's.
Washington isn't really happening anymore for the party scene, breh. Most all bars closed down, especially on Upper Wash. It's all moved to Rice Village and Midtown now, and I'm pretty happy with this. Whole lotta restaurants are about to be leasing and building where the old clubs used to be from what I hear.
So the wannabes go to Rice and Midtown now. That won't stop them from doing their best to embody everything Dallas. I enjoy my outer loop life. I especially enjoy driving on roads without 4 foot potholes every 15 feet, enjoying the abundance of ethnic restaurants that are prevelant in my burb, owning a kick-ass house for half the price of rent at some cookie-cutter apartment complex in the loop right next to the Walmart and Arbys, and RUBY****INGREDBIRD IN FEBRUARY. That said, when we blazing, dude?
Do Taco Bell and Panda Express count as ethnic restaurants? And midtown suckz. But Rice Village has some good restaurants now.
I've been to those parts of town after 9pm maybe 6 times in the last 3 years, total. Those are the places kiddos and the midlife crisis folk drive from Katy to go to. You can come blaze with me, we'll put on polos underneath our Express button-ups and Red Bull our way to zen after. I'll teach you about butt-chugging.
The one I bought was awful. Just foul tasting. No idea why. Enjoying my x2 IPA in Chicago right now. So good!
This is not good beer. There's a bunch at the Jamail's/Specs in Marble Falls. Please come buy it all and/or tell the tourists to so they can stock the space with something drinkable.
I'm no beer tasting expert but. It definitely has a distinct flavor. Takes like orange peels. I can see how this could be every refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
