If Shaq can lead Phoenix to beat the Lakers in the first round it would so so satisfying.

 

MDE is easily one of the most overrated EVAR. He got schooled by Hakeem in '95, and then repeatedly by Malone and company in the late 90s. He was basically a non-factor in Heat's only championship run. The first three rings he won was during an era where there existed no other dominant big man. To wit the opponents he "destroyed": a near retirement age Arvydas Sabonis, Rick Smits, an over-the-hill Mutombo, Vlade Divac, Jason Collins? LOL

What's clear is that he can't win without another superstar, a swingman in particular. Even then, he can barely coexist with his superstar teammates and is a certified coach killer. Penny Hardaway and Brian Hill, Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson, Dwayne Wade and Stan Van Gundy/Pat Riley, Amare Stoudemire and Terry Porter. Need any more evidence?

Two 30+ points games do not make him a savior to a team struggling to make the playoffs. It's only a matter of time MDE's fat old ass gets busted.
