Kirby Bryant is gone, so I doubt he has any friends from another era there.

    Walton is coaching.

Rox should be one leg up for sentimentality but can he pass up to play alongside the King (arguable GOAT) in his lifetime?

I would be enticed if I were him to say the least.

If there's white smoke coming out of Toyota Center we'll know we've acquired Pope.

    Highly likely
Gordon For KCP via 4th team
    Rockets save $57 million
    This year: 4M + 6M tax = 10M
    Next year: 15M + 32M tax = 47M

After this deal, Rockets trade 3 picks/Knight for 2 rotation players.

    Nope, not everybody.

We're targeting expiring contracts in a certain range. We're targeting two-year contracts in a certain range.

    expirings from Ross ($10 million) to Carroll ($15 million)....using Knight/Melo/second/maybe a youngster

also EGo/Melo/expiring for expirings plus pick(s)

Also Ego/Melo/expiring for a good player with 2 years left like Harrison Barnes...while simultaneously getting a pick out of the deal....

Also EGo/Melo/expiring for Beal.........another posssible move that could lead to a further move at the deadline

Worst case scenario....we'll piece together Chriss/Melo/Nene/Ennis to get an expiring deal like KCP.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

doubt me all you want................look at my avatar.......and remember my posts..............I've been telling you our ultimate targets since before the season started

Winslow is one of our prime targets. Oubre is another target. And we're making moves to be at the front of the line for Anthony Davis or KD or Green or Porter if one of those cats goes on the market.

I have no idea who Trevor's friends are in Houston and and off the court, or LA. I'm just guessing that both are competitive options for him.

But the Lakers are also on the upswing right now, and the Rockets have been imploding. You wonder what Trevor's opinion is on that.

Hell no. If we are giving up Gordon we better get back something very good.

Won't be the 2019 first. Possibly a later year. And if we sent out that first.....we'd need to get back a couple seconds from somewhere. Then .... possibly.....if we got an additional expiring....like McLemore/Jason Smith ($5 million range) to go with it.

I love Trevor but Kentavious is the better scorer. I do not think they have that many scorers outside Kuz, Lebron every other game.

Hart is not consistent enough IMO. Ingram is good but not great, has anger issues.

They would trade away Offense for some 3nD. They should weigh up their options.

Maybe they want to free Mike Beasley and Mikhailiuk.

After getting rid of luxury taxes, it is easy for Morey to trade Knight/3 Firsts for 2 rotation players.

God**mnit, I should've come up with this one. Well done.

In any case, this wouldn't be a stunner of a move. Slightly left field, but KCP's expiring would come in handy should we look to a team like Washington (Beal?) or Miami. We need to keep those first round picks, though.

My friend told me that Cavs insisted on demanding 2019 Rockets First by unloading JR.

Instead of helping LeBron James create a contender out of a storied franchise in his hometown?

    Makes perfect sense.

This gentleman wants Rockets to offer 2019 First for KCP.

    KCP is a defensive liability.

It remains to be seen who the 4th team because then things could get interesting. If Morey is trading a first round pick it better be for something good

    Rockets in
    KCP
    Troy?
    A big from 4th team
