http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26731947/mavs-porzingis-involved-bloody-altercation "A source told ESPN that the Mavericks' understanding that several Russians attacked Porzingis, who fought back before the club security broke up the scuffle." Damn Russians. Going around hacking elections and assaulting NBA stars. NYET. NYET.
It's been alot of finger pointing in and around the Knicks organization : / Multiple sauces have confirmed that the dude did in fact get a tale whooping.
Apparently, those Russians were celebrating the day Russia occupied Latvia (extremely sensitive topic for Latvians) and they instigated the conflict with KP's entourage. One dude from KP's entourage even had to be resuscitated... Another got hit by a metal chair... KP might have a broken arm... One of those attackers allegedly stabbed some guy last year. The video of KP pushing that girl looks bad, but there's more to the story than just a drunk/mad 7-footer pushing a girl.
Thugs. Also Prozingis needs to do better & surround himself with ppl that have higher character. Cuban also needs to get players that make better decisions
Well, from my perspective, smart people can usually figure out a smart scene and place to be versus dumb versions of same.
My wife visited Russia shortly after the Soviet Union fell. Her choir group was attacked by a mob of Russian sailors. I think starting drunken brawls is just something they do for fun over there.
Hope he doesn’t have a drinking problem. One event doesn’t prove anything. But if he keeps having questionable / violent incidents after drinking heavily, it certainly makes you wonder.
You know when I first read this headline, I was like "oh cool!! He's showing dance moves and jumping at clubs. He's on track to start playing soon!" This guy needs to keep better company and away from the all the riff raff. Regardless if he was at fault or not, you gotta be smart on where you hang out.
Yeah, I agree we shouldn't jump to conclusions, but personally, I would drink heavily if I had to wear a uniform afiliated w Dallas.
If those Russians were Knicks fans they should be glad Zinger is in Dallas. The guy only faded after the AS break and hasn't been able to stay on the floor on top of his character issues.
