I don't see Pop allowing the Lakers to gethim without getting Ball, Kuzma AND Ingram in return. Boston has the best package. What the hell was that post about NY having the best package without including Porzingis? LOL. WTH does NY have? Clippers have nothing. Literally don't see any good spot but Boston with Kyrie/Tatum package. If Lakers cave and give up all their assets for Kawhi, they have 2 spots to potentially lure LeBron to play with Kawhi and another guy of his choice, but PG13 wouldn't fit so Boogie or CP3 would be the only options and their roster would be just a BIG 3 and no one else.

He has a year and a player option in 19-20. Look at IND/OKC trade. Paul George was wanting the Lakers the whole time but Indy held out and traded him to OKC. Pop/RC would be foolish to trade him to a conference rival unless they just don’t care at this point and want the best pieces. But with Kawhi’s age it could come back to haunt them once the Spurs rebuild.
a buddy of mine told me in December that word around the Spurs was that he wanted to go home... way before it ever came out that he was having issues with the Spurs

The Lakers have the kind of assets to land Kawhi. LeBron, Kawhi, and Paul George plus a bunch of young athletic studs who just need to play their roles... no one will be able to score on such a team...
