TRADING CAPELA WOULD BE A MISTAKE! I don't think the Rockets need a major move, I think they need "THE CORRECT MINOR MOVE". We NEED size and that is the problem. More teams are playing like the Rockets(SMALL BALL AND SHOOTING 3'S), so we don't have a distinct advantage any longer. No, we need size! I would trade for Christian Woods by trading a #2 pick and pair him with Capela. This would give us a big frontline and someone who can run the floor, play defense and shoot the 3! I also like Lauri Markkanen for a #1 draft pick but he's out 4-6 weeks Also, before the Rockets make a trade, they need to decided who's going to be the POINT GUARD going forward; Are we going to be a running team with WB or a slow down team with Harden? I think the running one minute and slowing it down the next is causing the team to be inconsistent!
get ready for the patented, "we looked at many possibilities and came very close to pulling the trigger on a few but at the end of the day we wanted to keep our flexibility for potential buy out candidates"
Hunter and Reddish would be a fantastic haul. I have my doubts about Atlanta giving up Reddish at this point, as he's already coming into his own. Both guys are having marked increases in their game of late. One thing to consider though is CC's value...in general...but playing in the East also...He's underrated around here, but not so with the League. All the Beard/Brodie "enabling"/our system helps him pad stats arguments are offset to a certain degree..
Im not opposed to trading capela but not to the hawks unless they are a third team capela is super valuable spec in a league of dying big men
Lol at anyone thinking we could get Collins. They are probably offering some garbage package of Reddish, Len and Jones. I'd do Hunter, Huerter, Len and Jones for Clint, Nene, Green. I highly doubt they would offer such a package, but I'd pass on anything else, Clint is just too valuable for us.
I think that package should be good enough for Collins and Hunter. We'll see if anything happens (obviously unlikely) but CC has incredibly high value right now. Boston is interested and now we know the Hawks are still interested.
The guy has a ton of skill .. it's just untapped potential. He doesnt box out and consistently let's smaller players shoot over him at the rim. That's lazy play.
I would listen hard for offers if I am the Rockets. I would not trade him just to trade him, but if I can get enough for him I would definitely do it. The Rockets can always go with the Nerlens Noel's of the world at the 5.
Alex Len is injury prone throughout his Suns Career. Go after Rookie Contracts and Expirings. SF, PF, C is really bad right in terms of 2 way talent. Rockets are not multi talented in Shooting, Defense, Athleticism, Height, IQ, and no Youth. Rockets are the Oldest Team in the NBA I believe.
