You know what, I might change my mind. We would never win a championship after trading for Giannis, but I would certainly be laughing every time he has time on his hands from his injuries and he posts stuff like this on the internet lol.

Seeing as he gets eliminated in the first round for the last 3 years in the Leastern conference, he should have plenty of time in his hands to give us loads of comedy as he loses in the yearly bloodbath that is the Bestern conference.

Mind you these are probably the same people that wanted to start Bruno Fernando

I’d mostly do Sengun/DFS/Fillers for Giannis and Trent.

If the rockets don't go after giannis, the rockets are not serious and durant should demand a trade.

That would be the best thing for us. Happy to trade Durant and continue to build with the young guys. Fred and Steven’s injuries blew up our championships hopes. The team is flawed. There isn’t a trade out there that makes us contenders. We are so much more fun to watch without KD. Team plays more aggressive and more movement.

If FVV would approve it could easily be Sengun, FVV and picks for Giannis and Trent Jr.

Trent has fallen a lot this season. What happened to him?

Sengun has been a literal slog to watch for months now. He does everything half-assed now.

Sengun has to be in the deal, but I draw the line at Bari. Not enough shooting left if you throw him in.

Amen is my favorite Rockets player, and I don't want to trade for Giannis because I hate his game and he gets hurt all the time and is probably about to drop off in a big way. But if you were to do it, I feel like Amen would have to be the one to go. As little as Sengun spaces the floor, it's still more than Amen does. Maybe you'd have to just trade both of them though. Sengun for something like Okongwu + NAW, and Amen + FVV for Giannis.

Reed/NAW/KD/Giannis/Okongwu with Jabari as 6th man / backup PF/C isn't a team I'd feel confident about winning a championship before KD and Giannis are cooked like a Neopolitan pie, but I guess it would have a better chance than what we've got going now.

I'd rather just trade KD and all the vets and go back to building things OKC-style though.

Hawks already have a just as good/if not better player in Jalen Johnson. No use for Sengun. (LOL and you damn sure ain’t getting that Pelicans pick. Give that up now.)

Same with the Pacers & Jazz who I keep seeing on here. Why? Pacers got Zubac & Siakam. Jazz got Markkanen, JJJr. & Kessler is a RFA.

Go find some downtrodden franchise, some team stuck in the middle, some team with no direction.

Raptors were reportedly interested in Sabonis. Do they want fake Sabonis? But you’d have to take back (or find a taker) for Poeltl & his 4 year, $103M contract. Good luck.

Chicago is just there, but really has nothing to offer (Patrick Williams, Okoro, Jalen Smith)

Our familiar friends in Brooklyn if they strike out in the lottery?

    Clippers?

Don’t see many obvious or good fits.

Problem with all of these teams is they don't have anything we want (that they'd be willing to give up). I do think Sengun would fit just fine alongside Jalen Johnson though for what it's worth. The bigger issue is that they don't have enough solid defenders to cover for him, especially if we get Okongwu in the deal.

But yes, I think it is unlikely that we trade Sengun this offseason. There aren't any fits that just jump off the page like, "Oh yeah, that would make a ton of sense for both us and them". We probably run it back with the young core intact honestly. My bigger worry is that we'll keep all the vets too and be the embodiment of thisisfine.gif

Sengun Bari and Picks can get it done. I will pull the trigger faster than Ja Morant celebrations.

Jabari replaceable. Sengun looking like Temu Sabonis.

Question for cap people: Could Tari be in a Giannis deal as a sign & trade? If so, I'd rather give up a package of Sengun, Tari, and picks - there's not enough shooting on this team to include Bari.

Giannis is not gonna make this team a championship team. Don’t dig the hole deeper. Reset the timeline and use our assets to go find that franchise guy under the age of 28.

What a fool! We wouldn't be giving up any other core players.
That said, forget about trading for Giannis. His game won't age like fine wine.
    We need a longer view.

Even Sengun and filler only. I draw the line at any more than one Phoenix pick. They ain’t getting much for Giannis. I’d rather trade Sengun for expirings and picks than for Giannis if we are intent on trading him. Why people think adding Giannis to an Ime team is going to result in anything other than more of the same is beyond me.

Save the picks no matter what. Durant wanted to retire a Rocket so be it but we cant let go of any of our youth or picks…DFS can go trade him asap.

The entire NBA has been getting younger we need to get back on track.
