It's very difficult for Anderson to play well when he hardly plays at all . . . like All our big men. This coach just refuses to use PFs and Cs. Anderson tonight 23 minutes. Capela 27 minutes. If Capela is playing under 33 minutes, then I want to see him not able to do anything but walk before he comes off the court. I could play 28 minutes and I have hardly moved in 10 years. This coach is an imbecile.

The game is over. Ryan was a negative 24 in a game the Rockets lost by 7. Let me repeat that again with emphasis. Ryan was a negative 24 in a game where he only played 23 minutes and the Rockets lost by 7. The Rockets coaches and management need to have a serious talk with Ryan. Tobias Harris, who is normally a small forward averages 18 points a game on 46% shooting along with 5 rebounds. Since Andre Drummond was out, Tobias slid over to the power forward spot. Harris went off for 27 points on 8 of 15 shooting (53%) and 8 rebounds. Not only has Ryan not been shooting well, but his defense sucked tonight, and has sucked for the last few games. Ryan can control whether or not he chooses to play defense and rebound. Playing defense and rebounding the ball are things you can control. Look, I am a Ryan Anderson fan and I want him to do well, but I am also a Rockets fan and I want the Rockets to win. Right now, it is hard for me to believe that Chinanu Onuaku defense could be worse than Ryan's defense. Tarik Black and P.J. Tucker, who came in for Ryan and Capella when they sat were a +8 and +18.
Anderson needs to have plays called for him. It doesn't always have to be a 3, just a bucket to get his juices flowing; to see the ball go in the hole. Anderson can't be expected to launch like Green and EGO.
Harris played 10 more minutes than Anderson as well. But stop looking at the +/- all the time because all the players don't play against the same opponents for the same amount of time. Tucker was +18 but he wasn't any good tonight. I think most of that +18 came when we made that late run in the 4th
People assume Ryan Anderson is the reason people are suddenly going off. Ryan Anderson is not guarding those guys. go back and look. It was Tucker and Ariza on Bullock when he went off and when Tobias went off. I'm not condoning Anderson's PnR defense but he isnt responsible for the majority of their points. We arent here for that though. This is a positive thread. I want Ryan to do well so the Rockets do well. Ryan is here now so I'm rooting for him
