There isn't a game thread yet, but I wanted to post my annoyance with tomorrow's black out....why are we wearing black uniforms and encouraging the crowd to wear black AGAINST THE SPURS?! Could we not do a red, yellow, or even white out for this game? Anything but THEIR colors?!

Nonetheless, I can't find a black shirt in Austin, so I'll be wearing a dark grey Clutch City shirt...look for me on the baseline!

They could'v added some yellow and a dragon or something. Golden State's Chinese New Year jersey looks way better. Its different enough to be worth buying.

Almost every new city jersey is at least different and innovative. But the Rockets?
The same old boring ugly red with chinese letters? What a disgrace. Can you at least make the asslicking of the chinese fans a little more subtle?
Such a great chance for something new turned to trash.

They weren't. The font is very similar to a font used in ClipArt from Windows 95. It's a very cheap looking logo. I think it might've actually been created with ClipArt.

If you read my full paragraph you would already have the answer. Given that the current jersey pays homage to a rocket in a very subtle way, you will find it nearly impossible to do better unless you go away from the rocket idea . . . but that wouldn't be wise. It's actually a real asset to be able to pay homage without looking foolish. A rocket is perfect. You can't do it with a bull or a grizzly or most other team names. It should continue to be used and appreciated.

It's sad to know there are 50,000 of your opinions on this site. I've just educated you on why that is Not the case. Once you're educated on the font being taken from ClipArt on Windows 95, it's not debatable. You are now ignorant.

    "The H" and "H-Town"
    and "Clutch City"
