Glad to see Rotoworld has not been completely neutered by the NBC takeover: ESPN's Jason Wilde reports the Packers offered free agent Jared Cook more than they paid Martellus Bennett. Bennett signed for three years and $21 million on Friday. If true, it's astounding Cook didn't take the offer. It was either hardball gone wrong or a compete overestimation of what Cook can get on the open market. It's not entirely surprising a player as mistake prone as Cook dropped the ball like this. He has no shot at beating Bennett's offer elsewhere.
