    But he wasn't protecting his troops. He was threatening the US because the military was defending against their aggression.

    Protecting their troops? They were attacking American troops.

    You equating their actions to our own actions just goes to show you how far you will go to defend Russians agression. Very un american and yes it is a disgrace.

    The "troops" that Russia is concerned about are military advisors to the Assad regime and a bunch of yahoos pretending to be russian-rambos trying to make money.

    Read up on it, please. These are not regular Russian Army units. The Russian Army has admitted that they have no control over these guys (how much of that is true is debatable). That's what happened in the last "US boming that killed Russian 'soldiers'" story from a couple of weeks ago. It was a bunch of militiamen who wouldn't back off when we announced that the bombs were about to drop.

    Like I said, please do read up on this.
