Rumor has Pierce on the block: can we make a run at him?

I like Desert Scar's comments about Pierce.If we had no chance of making it to the playoffs I would be willing to trade Francis for him if the Celtics wanted him. I don't think they would exchange Pierce for Francis but it's not an outlandish idea either.

 

Pierce is a stud. I'd flip out if we could get him for Steve. It's just hard seeing that happen. And besides, maybe they are getting it together. Maybe.
