Since Wiggins is slated for a rookie contract, he really doesn't have any leverage here. Maybe 5 years from now he can stick to the Twolves for trading for him.

Still- just the whole idea that a freaking shoe company can influence trades and FA signing. You dont see this **** in any other league

It seems that Love is chained to the Timberwolves
He is not going anywhere not matter how much he pouts
    not this summer anyway

They don't seem to be willing to let him go

If Wiggins isn't part of the deal, don't see how they get Love. Thompson/Waiters/Bennett/Varejao are their only trade chips after they've traded a future 1st to get rid of Jack. Really?

Wolves make out like bandits if they get Wiggins.

LaVine-Wiggins backcourt could end up being really good.

But wouldn't the Cavs be a better team if they held onto Wiggins, and signed Pau Gasol instead? They could free up cap space with a Varejao trade I imagine.

They're giving up a young Lebron for a chance at the old Lebron.

Lavine is not playing PG he's a 2. Wiggins is a 2/3. Rubio will play the 1

    Apparently Lebron likes Varajao.

They have 24mill cap space, Lebron is 20.7. So they could offer Gasol 3.3
Or they can sign Lebron, trade for love and offer Gasol their exception, would give them a deeper frontcourt, with Lebron, Irving and Waiters in the backcourt.

Be interesting to see how this pans out

LeBron must have an affinity for broken-down players.

Even if Love resigns with the Cavs, wouldn't they be better with Wiggins at 4 years on a rookie contract?

Lets say Wiggins is the real deal, you could have Kyrie-Wiggins-Lebron and still have room for upgrades in free agency the next several years.

Or you cap out at Kyrie-Lebron-Love and are limited to MLE deals and veteran minimum players, just like Miami.

You have to keep Wiggins I think, there is no way this guy isn't at worst just an athletic wing with superior defense, who would thrive alongside the pass friendly Lebron James. You can always add rebounding specialists/stretch 4s with Wiggins on a team friendly deal. I don't think Love is worth it.

It comes down to what LBJ wants.

If he wants Love before he signs, that's what you do. I'd stick with Wiggins though.

If im the Cavs I would rather keep Wiggins and Trade Waiters Thompson and whatever contract to make the salaries match plus the 1st rounder with the potiential to be a lottery pick next year. Im not trading Wiggins, at his floor he is gonna be an elite defender and solid perimeter shooter with tremendous athleticism. Him and Lebron defending the perimeter would be a nightmare.

Minny not sold on Bennett and Waiters and the Miami pick as value for Love. Miami could sign a couple guys with the cap space and make it to the playoffs in the weak East..thereby destroying the potential lottery pick value of that Miami pick.
