    The only way i see this being true is if Melo after trying is just not able to feel good with coming off the bench, and if that's the case i'm all for letting him go as soon as possible.

    Doesn't sound right. I am no Melo fan. But cutting him this early looks bad for the Rockets management. And Chris Paul is supposed to be the big reason Melo came and CP3 is supposed to get Melo to be a good soldier.

    The only reason I can think of is that MELO wants out himself. That would be on him and not on the Rockets.

    Even though no one apart from EG can make a shot tonight, I’d rather ride with exact guys we have playing tonight. If we don’t see another minute of Melo in a Rockets jersey, I’d be just fine with that.
