76ers are trying to move both Simmons and Harris. Apparently, per dude-from-Sirius-XM-NBA, the Rockets have rejected the 76ers talks so far. I'm not sure there's anything Rockets-76ers related that would make sense at this point. Not sure if anyone has any non-Embiid player on their wishlist?
Good. Keep on telling them no. TM would be useful, but I'm not going to give a 1st round pick for him, even though that would be a reasonable price for him.
This. I'd take Simmons for Wall in a heart beat. I think Simmons can recover some of his value and be flipped later. But I can't imagine the Sixers would accept a straight up swap.
“Oh, I see. You think I’m stupid. I have ‘stupid’ written on my forehead. You’re going to pass your dreck on to me, as if I owe you something?” “Just help me save face. Look, what do I have to do to make this work? I’ll throw in a protected future 2nd…..Hello? I can hear you breathing….Hello!!?” Tobias Harris was grossly overpaid. I’m not one to hate on another’s money, but $25,000,000 per was closer in line to an overpayment. Can’t imagine what the offer would have been.
They wont, because like Detroit they are most likely asking for everything they can possibly get for nothing.... Don't give up anything! Not our young talent, not our picks.... We lost Harden and had one of the worst seasons of all time because of these 3 dumb asses that left... We earned those draft picks we got for Harden, we found the young talent and landed and incredible draft.... Now these fools want to come knocking offering their problems for our goods.... NO... We don't need Simmons, we don't need Harris...
Cmon bro its 4 FRP, 4 swaps, Green, Sengun and Garuba. Trade discussions with Morey have been anything but reasonable judging from the leaked Simmon talks.
Completely unaware of our cap situation but we could likely absorb his contract without much outgoing salary considering it's the offseason, and for that reason I do not want him. No room to sign mentors and future pieces if we absorb that mess without getting rid of Wall.
Assuming we sign our rookies, we are just $1.9mm below the cap with two open roster spots. So we can’t absorb extra salary in trades, unless it fits the normal rules for over the cap trades. Per Spotrac.
