I'm trying to get hype for Griffin but I just can't. I don't think he has the same explosiveness he had coming into this league. Clippers collectively suck against the Warriors and that's who we're trying to beat. I'm not sure if Griffin is the answer. He's developed his game, sure. He could be another lob outlet for our guards. I just don't know if he's the guy we need.

To get both him and Chris Paul you're going to need to send Anderson to LAC in a sign and trade for Blake. Those don't happen much and I doubt LAC would help us out like that. Griffin doesn't stretch the floor hardly. Yeah I know he's developed a jumper, but I think we're better served trying to get Ibaka. He can stretch the floor, play PF/C, finish lobs and while I don't have the numbers in front of me, I believe he's a better defender than Griff.

Why isn't Ariza being made available too?

Blake Griffin is a more athletic and skilled version of David Lee.

The playoffs showed what we already knew.... the Rockets need more high end talent that can score consistently when Harden can't.

Would be interesting to add cp3 and Griffin.

Basically it's the clippers with harden because Capela is like a cheaper version of deandre Jordan.

If the idea is to keep Ariza than yoursvtaring five is pretty freaking good.

    Cp3
    Harden
    Ariza
    Griffin
    Capela.

Assuming they can somehow keep one guy for the bench houston would be a very very hard out for the warriors.

If its the Clippers + Harden then it would be similar to the Rockets in the last few playoffs. CP3 and Griffin will both get injured and it would be all on Harden to pull the Rockets through in the playoffs. CP3 EGo Harden and PBev would be great because you could stagger their play time and lower their overall usage. Your ability to score won't be as volatile either.

Change that "or" to an "and" and make it happen, Morey. Go big or go home.

Because Ariza punked Harden to make the team keep him.

Sounded like he Lowry would have signed here last go round had we not held out for Melo.

Now we will pursue him again but will need him to wait for Paul to answer us first.

Doesn't Stein normally have inside knowledge about the Rockets? I feel like I remember him being the one to break several trades the Rockets have made.

Maybe he, along with Gordon and Dekker, are a part of a package to get George.

We just need Bev to fetch us a mid-1st for the trade to happen.

Lou and Anderson will be the pieces we move into cap space to sign a top tier FA in July.

...while Lowry re-signs with the Raptors or signs with the Spurs. ;)

It didn't work out well in LA. Why would it work now?
