Well Memphis gave him 23.5 min/game and he put up 8.3 points with .369 from 3 and 1 block with 2 fouls per game. Not awful. Of course, this doesn't mean his defensive positioning was ever good, Memphis doesn't exactly run the tightest of systems. Ahem, Bickerstaff.

very excited to add Thabo. defense, shooting, rebounding, IQ... all huge upgrades.

i expect him to play backup PF for us. last year he played 45% of his minutes at PF, and he has a higher Reb rate than any of our other forwards.

This is a more accurate reflection of Thabo imo.

next move would be where KD is sent here in a blockbuster trade Gordon,Capela,Tucker,House 2 first to Nets. This all happens because Durant get angry in NJ by the deadline and forces a trade. Ibaka forces a buyout and comes to houston. That would be some insane stuff right there. Thunder KATS Reunited!

    Not gonna happen thou.

WAY better than Shumpert ever was. Thabo has had some seasons of being an elite defender. Like actually best in the world caliber in his healthy OKC and ATL seasons.

Lol now RPM has credibility. But the dumb b****es here would not acknowledge Paul being top 15. Figures.

Thabo and Noah are really close. I remember a story where Noah went into a visiting locker room to say hi to thabo and someone got mad. We should get Noah, we don’t really have a backup center that’s going to realistically be able to keep up

Get Noah to add to our collection of old centers Chandler and Nene?

    ...sure.

Noah is 3 years younger than Nene Hilario, fool. That’s an upgrade.

It's not a horrible idea if Hartenstein isn't ready. Nene is now unplayable due to contract terms and Chandler isn't exactly a spring chicken.

Hartenstein is ready because he was ready last year. What more can the man do? IMO, we win against GSW if he played. IF coach plays him you’ll see he does the things we lack. Coach has to let him play to trust him. Clark is the same way, too. It’s on MDA not the players or DM. Let the players play and develop in the league so they start to get calls from the referees thus lighten Harden’s role.

I'm curious too what a Harty could have done against GS. His offensive timing is off, but his D is actually decent. We could have really used some more heart in that series and Harty gets you 2nd chances. I don't blame Dantoni though, he can't go away from Clint when Clint is missing shots he normally hits.

Hartenstein is like .5 seconds off on his timing on offense. He plays like he's 6'8 when he attacks the rim in a non dunk drive. He really just tries to get contact and get the ball on the rim. He could really benefit on those roles with a Scolaesque lay in and an occasional power dribble. Also, someone has to teach him to reverse! How many times did we see him under the hoop with defenders on his back, attempt to go straight up. The guys forgets he's 7'1.

I can see Hartenstein starting for a team in 2 years, or out of league. I don't see much in between aside from a Meyers Leonard like career.
