L'Bryan Nash is a 6'7", 230-lb SF from Dallas. Played 1 year at Oklahoma State, then went undrafted.

This year, he's been playing for the Busan KT Sonicboom of the South Korean Basketball League, where he averaged about 22 points and 6 rebounds. He was with the Vipers last year and averaged about 8 points and 3 rebounds in 27 games.

Found this gem in a draft profile: "The comparisons to Artest run deeper than the physical resemblance and style of play, Nash has developed a reputation for being a little bit of a headcase."

Can he bring some defense? I hope he is a practice player. We need a healthy big for the playoffs.

That is our biggest need. An athletic, tall C/F.

Stinks that he isn't available with this injury. The fact he is going to "rehab with the Rockets" even after being cut says to me that he probably will be re-signed in the offseason. The fit is there. Since he won't be available for the playoffs, they release him to add a player for depth etc.

Why does it matter that Wright is gonna F LeBryan Nash? Seems like a private matter for a reporter to tweet.

So Wright was sitting on the bench with Memphis with a bum knee that needed surgery? What the hell is Memphis doing?

Unfortunately yes. He was basically a non-factor up here when he played for the Mavs. That's why my reaction was "Meh" when his signing was announced.

Man I am really bummed out about this! He fits so good! Nene is not good anymore, and wright is very long defensively . there will be times when capela can’t do it all. Capelas alleyopps threats really open up the offense, nene not providing offense will really hurt.

Nene is not some negative offensively. no idea why people try to bring him down this way. he provides plenty of it in the backup role he plays. he can play pnr or pnp. an added versatility to capela. Expecting alleys as the only source of offense from the C position is delusional. Take for example when defenses choose to take away the alley. Capela absolutely struggles bc he doesnt provide offense consistently anyway else.

Oh well. It seemed weird to me to roster four true centers in the modern NBA anyways. I trust Tarik more than most people seem to when it comes to filling garbage time and providing Nene insurance.
