*Side note: Harden with a ridiculous 1.51 points per shot, 5th highest in the NBA, #1 among all guards.

I wish we could do heart posts like on that FB machine. I would do a heart on this one. There are so many great things to love about this team.

Ryan needs to push on the gas. He's way too good of a shooter to be this low on the list. He's just got to get back to the attitude of being the best player on the court like AAU! Tonight he did a bit of that.

Ariza, Anderson, Harden, and Gordon have combined to hit more threes (341) than any other team in the NBA

Rockats finally have players that fit the system. Too bad it took so long for Morey and Les to realize that if you take mostly threes, you need players that can make threes.

Wesley Matthews would be nice on this squad If he didn't make a billion dollars.

i think they were stuck during the dwight years, unable to afford the best shooters. now the trick will be, with our high priced shooters, will they be able to afford a second star player?

the true genius was convincing the fans that McFail and JBB weren't jokes.

    Didn't work for me tho.

Probably don't need another star. Just commitment to play their role.

we already acquired the second star god bless his hearth and keep him healthy, its the two-way player who made the key 3 point at the end and key steal/deflection in the very next play, we need not wait on ESPN to announce the news, the star is rising before our eyes

steph and klay were lotto picks. we hopefully won't have any of those during the harden years.

    durant? they didn't develop him.

so, we're talking about green. i'd be interested to see how many teams have a player drafted as late as him that turned into an all star level player. my guess is that its too rare of an occurrence to be a reliable plan of action.

before we had harden (during the lowry/kmart/scola years) i was begging to tank and get high lotto picks to build a team of 2-3 stars. i still believe in building through the draft... however, i wouldn't want to spend a year of harden's prime, and the subsequent years it would take to develop a rookie into an all star.

we simply can't waste harden's years hoping to develop a sidekick for him. the time for that was years ago, not anymore, unless we get lucky with a late draft pick like clint/dekker becoming our version of draymond. the right thing to do right now is maximize upcoming cap space and hope to land a second star, if not, spend it on useful players like we did this summer with ryno/ego after missing out on horford.

Nice stats.... I find it interesting that Ariza is shooting slightly lower than Klay Thompson and for far less money.

Of course; Clutchfans was putting Thompson above Harden last season and is now engaged in a Gordon vs Thompson debate. Maybe they'll work their way down to Ariza at some point, or back up to Harden? Who can say?
