Just to deviate the topic from another thread about us being better without Yao. Now discuss...

Has anyone been watching our end of quarters and how bad they look without AB?

Even though we are playing the dregs of the league and winning, we need AB back, badly.

If we played good teams without him, we would be toast.....neither Kyle nor Ish is any threat to shoot the ball and better teams will leave them all alone.

I hope AB gets healthy soon, or we get to play the Knicks and Twolves every game until he does.

you might as well start a thread titled "rockets better against the knicks, than the lakers."

i think its obvious that the schedule has a lot to do with it.

    I agree and disagree.

AB's defense and K-mart's defense together is becoming a liability. Atleast with Kyle or Ish there is a little more balance in regards to the D.

First of all, I'm sure there's about a million threads about this already.

Second of all, not true. He's our best wing scorer (in terms of creating for himself) and a very underrated passer. He can also shoot lights out. He would make every team he's on better. He might not start, but he'd make them better.

If he would just learn how to play some defense...

Just as dumb as the other thread. We beat two crappy team and now we have chemistry? What about the part we lost to Washington? The difference in my opinion is defense and rotation. Lowry's defense is better! and Ish's pass first mind set really benefits this team. Is this evidence we are better without Brooks?

How about Rockets' defense better without Brooks?

No he's not Martin is. And shooting lights out was last year. And how about he makes us better first and that starts with D.

On a side note do you all really thing were going to give him a big contract as well as keep lowrys? I doubt it

Ok, second best. My point still stands.

He needs to work on D. Doesn't mean he doesn't make us better.

We win one game without AB = "We are better without brooks"
We win one game without Yao ="Yao is killing this team"
We lose one game with Yao = "face it, we suck"
We win one game with Ish Smith = "Ish is the best PG in the team"
Chase has one good game: "Time to replace Shane in the starting position?"
Chase didn't play in a game: "Chase in the dog house?"
Battier has one good game: "THE NEW SHANE BATTIER?"

If anything, it's been shown that Lowry isn't a starting caliber PG.

I'll stay optimistic on Brooks, but I've felt for awhile we've seen the best out of him. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Absolutely not true, I will take AB in the lineup any day. Scoring potential goes way up. A.B. has blazing speed and can score.
