Robert Mueller, Former F.B.I. Director, Is Named Special Counsel for Russia Investigation

Hell, even in his example of using robots or AI to make decisions there is bias coming from the coder who builds the damn thing. Bias != corruption.

 

These text messages are disturbing and reveal an anti-trump bias.

But let's give them credit for their foresight in believing Trump could win. A lot of the Trump haters dismissed his chances 100% in their echo chamber safe spaces.

 

Seems to me like you would want the most biased people leading investigations. If nothing is found, you can say, even so and so couldn't find wrong doing. If they do find something, they can present evidence, and evidence isn't affected by bias. Evidence just is.

Comey didn't stir it up, he did the best he could to make it go away while trying to downplay his corruption so that it wouldn't be so obvious.

 

Deflect, Deflect, Deflect. There is no bias in the investigation. They know it is a matter of time before Trump is charged with something.

Good lord, I hope it's obvious to any red-blooded American: Jim Jordan and Trey Gowdy are the worst of partisan hacks, while Mueller is a career lawman, a conservative by nature, praised consistently by both parties until he was ordered to investigate the current mess.

The irony is that when Mueller was named special counsel, conservatives claimed liberals would be unhappy with the choice.

They had some questions and concerns regarding some of Mueller’s staff members. It was not an appropriate setting for them to heap praise on Mueller.

 

That's not why they did that.

 

Actually it is. You know why?

Because the day that Mueller found out, do you know what he did?

He FIRED them. If the partisanship (in their personal lives mind you) is a problem for an investigation, you should be praising the person who didn’t hesitate to remove that partisanship.

The DOJ’s #3 in charge gave over 300k to Republicans in 2016. Should this person also not be able to investigate a Democrat in an investigation? People in law enforcement are still human beings. They have a job to do and if they don’t do it correctly they should be fired. The folks Mueller fired had little to do with what the investigation has done in the past 6 months, and Mueller firing them when he did shows a willingness to go the extra mile to show there is no partisan political interference.

 

So most of yall are not only ok with the current revelations, most are applauding the partisan bias by the investigators. Wow.

 

As usual, you are not accurately portraying what most people are posting here:
1. Most view this as Trump and supporters desperation/panicked efforts to end Mueller's investigation into trump. Especially as more information about trump, his family, cabinet members and campaign people are discovered and reported.
2. Most believe its realistic and acceptable that DOJ and FBI agents to have opinions about trump. And most believe that what trump supporters are reporting here are simply DOJ and FBI personnel's personal thoughts on trump.
3. Most people believe DOJ and FBI agents can easily set aside personal beliefs and perform their jobs as professionals
4. Most here believe Trey Gowdy ("Benghaaaazi!) and Jim Hamilton expressing outrage about "bias" is laughably hypocritical.

So yes, *I* am "ok" with the revelations and consider your 'applauding the partisan bias" accusation as inaccurate.

 

Nobody is applauding partisan bias by investigators unless you mean the biased members of Congress acting like they are investigating conflicts of interest from the FBI.

What most of believe is that professional law enforcement agents and investigators can be professional and there is nothing to show that they have been anything other than professional. That is especially true of Mueller.
