    Just to clarify: There's no set order for your picks. If you for example know no one but you is able to pick Duncan, you can take him in the last round and go for others (aka highly contested players who played for multiple teams) first.

    You read my mind. Exactly why I selected whatever franchise I just picked because half of the players won't be snatched by others.

    But isn't there a rule to this?

    First round has to be MVP
    Second to third has to be an Allstar.........

    I wish LCAhmed could clear this up. That would put a stop to this strategy.

    We used to pick the way I described above. That would be some major novelty if I could pick an MVP in the 8th round.

    I only want to make sure that no one is complaining when I pick my MVP in the 5th round that the MVP round is ending with the 1st round and I just screwed up big time by selecting just 'an Allstar'.

    Or better a role player first.

    Sure but he wasn't going to be among the Allstars. It's all good. The Chicago Bulls just lost him too.

    btw just a thought, if the player you want was am all star on other teams, but weren't an all star while on your team, does he count as an all star pick? this could change how brehs strategize their picks.
