    This is actually not true. The highest concentration of right-leaning people is the group that has a bachelor's degree only. People's politics move left going both directions on the axis of education.

    I found this online from a book called Guilt, Blame, and Politics by Allan Levite:

    So, basically, humanities professors are liberal because they feel guilty to devoting their lives to such useless subjects.
