Report: Lewis Agrees To Sign With Magic

WKMG Channel 6 -
Orlando television station WKMG Local 6 is reporting that Rashard Lewis has agreed to sign with the Orlando Magic on July 11.

The deal is reported for 5 years and $75 million.

Sports anchor David Pingalore also reported the Magic will allow restricted free agent forward Darko Milicic to become an unrestricted free agent.

though i may sound like sour grapes, i think we may have dodged a bullet. i would have welcomed his addition, but he's incredibly overrated, and now incredibly overpaid. he might be the softest player in the league making that kind of money. and that's saying alot.

I thought Lewis agent said that Lewis was not going to leave Seattle without the Sonics getting something in return for him leaving?

I would love to get Darko for mle money, then open the battier for artest trade and or sign and trade alston and head for darko then trade battier for artest. use the mle for to split between joe smith and steve blake.. now i think you're cooking with grease.

We cannot and will not pay him that much for his service. We've got Tmac already and pressing need is to stop Boozer or Ducan.
