Sorry it took so long to get this up. I have been out of the office today. Pitching Matchups: 4-30 - Jose Acevedo (2-1, 4.26) vs Roger Clemens (4-0, 2.05) 5-01 -- Aaron Harang (2-0, 3.52) vs. Wade Miller (2-2, 3.12) 5-02 -- Cory Lidle (2-1, 4.97) vs. Tim Redding (0-3, 10.22) 5-03 -- Paul Wilson (3-0, 4.50) vs. Roy Oswalt (2-1, 2.48)
Roger trying to be the first Astro pitcher to get five wins in the month of April. Or is it the first to go 5-0? (Heard it on 610am) It just seems with all the pitchers the Astros have had someone would have done it by now. Edit I forgot my prediction............W???
Well, if the follow the policy they've had for as long as I can remember, there will be no televised home games on Saturday nights. If you're sitting at home on a Saturday night, get out to the ballpark!
hard throwing pitcher who played for the A's. The astros were all set to take him with their first pick in the 1997 draft, but a guy named Berkman happened to still be on the board when their pick came up. They traded Saarlos to get him
Ah, yes I remember the trade now. But why was he in instead of Dotel? Isn't Dotel our primary closer? I'll admit I don't know all aspects of baseball, but I'm just wondering why you wouldn't put in your everyday closer, even if it is a 5-run game.
I don't think there is such a thing as an everyday closer. Especially when they have a big lead and their Main Closer pitched the day before.
