It seems the pacers are competing no way would they sell turner cheap. they expect two 1st rounders at least considering the inflation of picks these days. turner would be a good fit for most teams in the league, few of them can afford him though.
Help the Hawks ditch salary and get Crowder Suns Eric Gordon Kenyon Martin jr Hawks Jae Crowder Dario Saric Rockets Bogdan Bogdanovic Jalen Johnson 2024 1st from PHX 2024 1st from ATL (not sure if they can trade their own, if not, from SAC) Perhaps the Hawks are overpaying there to ditch Bogdan's salary. Perhaps we might need to send them Christopher (or a talent on a rookie scale that we aren't playing much). Saric (if he recovers) is a very nice multi-dimensional piece off the bench for them
We ‘ve had a large enough sample size, it’s safe to say that this ship has sailed. Not sure if there was any truth in the off-season rumours about SGA being available, but this feels like a missed opportunity. Can’t help but think that Morey would have pounced quicker…
Gordon+Sengun+Tate+Christopher+Brooklyn 2024 and 2026 FRP for Halliburton and Turner. Turner/Garuba/Bruno Smith/KMJ Eason/KMJ/Matthews Green/KPJ Halliburton/KPJ/Ty
Probably been brought up before, but what about making a move for L Ball-PG? Wouldn’t be cheap, and I don’t like his “showtime” mentality, but he’s definitely a facilitator, and young. I’m not going to try to guesstimate a trade package, but does anyone else think this would be worth pursuing?
I actually would love Lonzo on this team. He might be damaged goods though. He’s been out since January with knee issues. No timetable on his return.
I think he would fit with Green really well. He is so injury prone. The package would need Gordon and FRPs.
I know there are not many minutes available for guys like these but I would love to see a trade where the Rockets send out Gordon and in return get one ofthe following guys and maybe another asset. MarJon Beauchamp (Bucks) Christian Braun (Utah) Kenny Lofton Jr. (Memphis)
And this is why a trade for Thybulle still makes sense to me. As well as signing Myles Turner in offseason. Would still do above even if Rockets draft Wembanyana. Defense matters.
