Actually, I think some of those Steven Wright jokes might have been ripped off Mike Warnke, who I think has been around longer than Wright. Maybe not, maybe it is the other way around, but I remember seeing some of those lines on Warnke's standup a looong time ago. Certainly before I remember ever hearing of Wright.

 

Why is a box being delivered by ship called cargo, but a box delivered by car called a shipment?

 

Why do you wear a pair of pants? There is only one "pant" with two legs. You don't wear a pair of skirts---do you?
