- David Boston is the biggest, baddest guy I've ever seen at the wide receiver position. - The Bears offense made the Vikings defense look all-world. Think about it. - Do they sell Ed McCaffery replica jerseys in sizes bigger than medium, due to the way the man wears them on the field? - Drew Bledsoe is the man. - The Jets are so unbelievably, wildly inconsistent from quarter to quarter. - Why do people knock Brian Griese so hard? - Does Ray Lewis make that much of a difference? Or are the Steelers on their way back? - What happened to the Patriots? - Finally - Good job, Emmitt. A classy player takes a classy player's record. This post was sponsored by NFL Sunday Ticket.
that's what i thought when i saw him about a year ago when cbs did a little update during a game to show him scoring. i knew he had been putting up some stats, but had never really seen him in action, and i was like damn, he's friggin huge yet runs fast. of course then i draft him in my fantasy league this year and the cards struggle and he gets injured a little and his stats suck, but i still agree with the original statement. just throw him the damn ball everytime jake and help f4p's fantasy team.

Rich Gannon can't stop throwing the damn ball Peerless Price and Eric Moulds are the NFL's Best WR duo by far. Michael Vick is freakin Awesome Deuce McAllister is freakishly Awesome Priest Holmes cannot be stopped Santana Moss isn't a bust yet. Terrell Owens is better than Randy Moss. Charlie Garner is Roger Craig reincarnated The Patriots are still alive. Andre Davis is the best rookie WR. Charles Woodson needs to get his ass back. Shannon Sharpe can still play Maybe Tommy Maddox isn't that bad. The Texans D is good. Joey Harrington is good. Tampa Bay's offense sucks. Emmitt Smith got a record no one else wanted to take. Don't piss off Tim Couch. The Bengals really suck. The Bears really suck, and I think I'm going to win a bet.
Well, following after John Elway is a big part. However, pointing fingers at your teammates like Griese did last season is not going to help either. But he has been doing better at this this season and I think Shannon Sharpe has a big part in that.
The Bengals will be looking for a new coach. Will Troy Aikman un-retire to QB the Dolphins as some "experts" have predicted?
Griese doesn't suck per se, but he's nothing more than average. He's the typical NFL QB, don't screw things up, and play within the system.
I remember back in August, when Sonny was hyping up the Bears. Don't they have the same record as the Texans now? Bears will always suck, just like the Cubs. Death, taxes, Bears sucking...
If he un-retired, he'd better come back and play for Dallas. Give the fans something good to see that they've missed for SO long. I don't really foresee him coming back, though. I don't think he'd be all that great, either. But you never know.
I'm pretty sure if you asked any running back in the NFL if they would want this record, they'd say yes. Are you bitter because Barry Sanders quit when he probably would have been the career leader? I don't know why you would say this. Barry Sanders quit on his team so that's why he doesn't have the record. No other running back is good enough, long enough to get even close.
-- Bledsoe is defiantly the man. It’s nice to finally see what he can do surrounded by good offensive weapons. He hasn’t had a good back since Robert Edwards got hurt, and he hasn’t had a premiere receiver since Terry Glenn went nuts. - I think there are two reasons that people knock Griese. As mentioned in an earlier post that Elway guy was kind of good. Secondly he was having a great year in 99' until he got hurt. He had 19td's and 4 int’s in just 10 starts. Then he comes back last year and lights it up for the first few games and then had a disappointing second half.
- The Titans' defense would make a girl's church league look all-world. - Eddie George is still a punk despite his recent 100 yard games. - Mcnair has earned the title of "Air" - and i am still a titan fan
wearing my old patriots Bledsoe jersey on gameday is not a lucky charm that helps him perform better (hence improving my fantasy football team) holding my plush cotton football while sitting on the middle cushion of my couch and never moving helps the Texans win ballgames (just learned this one today).
Emmitt's record setting has a lot to do with a lot of things. A whole bunch of it was mental. Barry Sanders just did not have the mental drive to make it as far as Emmitt did.
Im not bitter that Barry Sanders retired. I just think Emmitt Smith has too high opinion of himself, His record will be broken.
