Came across this gem the other day. Here is the map of China as of 1910. That is a whopping 1/4 of what is today. You got to be kidding me. After WWII they took Manchuri, half of Mangolia, Turkestan (what they call Xinjiang nowadays) and Tibet. They have to be one of the biggest winners of the wars besides us. I understand those territories probably were under their control early on. But without WWII and us winning it, these ungrateful bastards would never have got those lands back.
