He definitely was the main reason for the Nets' suckiness.

Dang that is some good analysis, don't have sound on, just the video. But Rafer is Rafer... up to the coach to make the change.

Very nice analysis video but that guys voice will put you to sleep.
Sucks for Lopez, he's pretty much their only option for now and that not being executed.

OMG...that has to be the WORST non-execution of offense I've ever seen.

It makes you appreciate Morey even more for finding a team to unload this guy on and still get Lowry.

Good stuff. I don't have sound at work, but pictures speak a thousand words.

I can't begin to express how happy I am that Rafer isn't on the Rockets any more. I think watching him play for those few years took a decade off of my life.

    like i said. Rafer brings
1.) controlling the tempo (bring the ball slowly to half court lulz)
2.) above average defender at the position
3.) ...... other than shooting 1/15 90% of the time, i really can't think of anything else.

Dear lord I hated that guy when he was on the Rockets. Absolutely one of the worst players to ever grace the NBA. Sooooo glad he is not our problem anymore. The guy was absolutely garbage.

"The ball is actually going to get swung back around to Rafer, and we're going to get a bonus bad pick-and-roll."

    That made me laugh.

It is so weird that the guy known as skip to my lou is so afraid to make the risky pass....

Meh.....not surprised though a lot of us have been saying that for 3 years.

I remember people on the board commenting how Rafer never passed to the cutter off the pick-n-roll. There's proof.

For sure. It doesnt count as a turnover if it clanks off the backboard.

I watched some of Nets game this year before Frank Lawrence was fired.
Very simple why the team sucked

    Lawrence had no clue

CDR and the rookie Williams are black holes. It's one way street game if they caught the ball, and yet they are not leashed b/c Lawrence had no clue.

Lopez is their stud, but not there yet to be the guy night in and night out. Yi needs more Viagra. Harris needs to play more controlled.
But those three are the only potential positive things for Nets right now.

Dribble the ball past half court, pass to Turkoglu or Lewis, get out of the way.

I think that sums up his role on that team.

Holy crap Rafer is so bad the score was so lopsided in the 1st QTR

New York Knicks 80 points to New Jersey 9 at the 1:45 mark. Nice!!!! Must be a record.
