Hinch has been Alternating players through a day of rest since the All-Star break. No concern here, although many players are going to get rest tomorrow night. Still, our AAA team has defeated the likes of the Angels and Mariners multiple times this year. There is still hope, even with Miley on the mound.

I am assuming you know that ‘Stupid Hinch’ is an Astros forum staple.

Hey Buck, yes I've ****ing figured it out as I've watched every game. He has sat a few players each game. My comment was based on the post above that he was going to sit "multiple" players.

Certainly agree resting guys as it's a long season. My comment was everyone is getting four days off next week before the playoffs.

Don’t you think Hinch and Luhnow know better how to handle the players better than any of us could ever hope to?

I try not to bash a manager for when he rests or plays guys. You have no idea what is going on physically with all the players Maybe a guy has a sinus infection. Maybe his kids are sick and he was on the phone with his wife at a hospital all night. They don't report every single thing going on with these guys. We only got word on Carlos because he was supposed to be in the lineup yesterday since Hinch announced his plan on how he was going to play him.

No bobrek I know how to handle the players better than Hinch and Luhnow.

Of course they know how to handle them better. For crying out loud I just made a damn comment that I hope they're putting a lot of weight on the fact that they do have four days off next week. So by saying this I'm calling Hinch "stupid"?

Yanks lose tonight and Stros win tonight/tomorrow and they have three days to rest key players. Need a good outing from Miley tomorrow.

Yanks down 2-0 and Morton looks filthy with his pitches. Only 27 pitches through 2 innings.

All good. I think they're gonna be ok.

(no offense earlier, truthfully, that was a drive-by post on my part, directed at nobody in particular)

I miss CFM in a Stros jersey.

Big game pitcher, and he's pitching his ass off right now.

CFM lost a no hitter with 2 outs in the 6th inning but Rays still up 2-0. The Yankees have scored 1 run in 18 innings in this series.

Mortons curve and slider are both sick tonight. Miss that guy so much.

an even 100 pitches through 6...I'm guessing Tampa goes to the pen now

I love watching Morton pitch, this has been fun

    Yanks lose 0-4!

Down to 2 wins to claim HF over the Yanks; 3 games to claim HF over the Dodgers.

I do miss Charlie ****ing Morton as well. Somewhere along the way he surpassed The Great Bill Spiers for inexplicable esteem in my eyes and I didn’t even realize it. It’s impossible to not love the guy.
