Weird state law allows publish grand jury members names. The trump supporters exploit though exploit this to threaten them...

If you threaten someone in a grand or regular jury when they are doing their civic duty, you should get your ass thrown in jail. Zero tolerance with a mandatory minimum sentence.

 

Keepin it 100! You cannot allow ANY intimidation of a juror; it is our civic duty to perform this function and there cannot be any intimidation or people will be afraid to go and you cannot have that, we are judged by our peers, as it should be and there should be ZERO tolerance for this .....IMO the jury info should be kept private

No kidding. It seems clearly criminal and endangers the whole juror system when jurors face these kinds of threats.

But Trump felt it was okay and that his supporters were right to threaten to murder the Vice President. Trump encouraged his supporters to use violence against people who might have tomatoes at a Trump gathering.

Many of people who may not even be supporters of Trump seem to brush off these endorsements of violence.

I have to believe that only a small subset of MAGA supporters engage in these violent threats. If only the party’s leader would speak out against violence targeting judges, grand juries, lawyers, and prosecutors, it could stop now and prevent further spread. And, of course, the leader absolutely shouldn’t encourage any of this.

It’s likely to spread and consume more of MAGA since their leader enables these behaviors. Trump voters aren’t innocent either.

these mindless drones leave death threat voicemails using their personal cell phone and lay out plans to assassinate the president on their public FB feed
