Predict the year the rockets win their next championship

    We will revisit this thread when we win and I pledge to give anyone that was correct a like. I promise.

    Bonus points if you guess our first option at the time of the championship.

    My guess is that we will be winning it all in the year 2029 with Doncic as our first option.

    He’s gonna get sick of Kyrie and Dallas soon and with the quality of the top teams in the west, especially OKC who will use their picks to add an elite star, he isn’t going to be winning.

    • 2027. We go all in at the 2026 trade deadline for Jayson Tatum to pair with Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr., & Amen Thompson.
    • The Rockets make the WCF in 2026 before winning it all in 2027.
    • Whitmore, Tari, & 2 firsts go out in the trade.

    I really hope that Doncic is petty enough to go to Dallas’s main rival to spite their lack of urgency to build a competitive roster but I just can’t see it. If Doncic goes anywhere it’s to pair up with Jokic

    I'd guess without a major trade for a superstar, they'll be contending to finish in the top four by 2028, and have a real shot at a championship ring in 2030.

    Holy cow, that's a long time.
