Y’all think Texans can cover the spread against the colts. Really debating on putting Texans on some of my parlays in Vegas next weekend
I can't believe so many of you have such dismal hopes for this season. Only a couple of us said 10-7. Get ready for an unexpected surprise. I know deep in your hearts you hope we are right. Go Texans!
At least 3 wins. No way we lose to folks in our shtty division twice. Tbh I'm just hoping for good games. And improvement from mills. No fking way we make playoffs
Another thought Houston had made some questionable roster moves for a team with so much room for improvement. "They sign a bunch of special-teamer depth guys," this voter said. "They have signed a million depth linebackers that don't have defensive value. To me, it's like New England is when they have seven safeties and the last three don't do anything on defense. They treat special teams as its own entity, but that is a luxury Houston can't really afford. I just don't think it's a talented roster." He's not wrong at all, but he's gotta give us another year.
I took the over in Vegas at 4.5. This is a better team than a year ago. I think they will have an improved defense, a better offensive line, a better running game, better coaching, and the stench of Deshaun Watson removed from them. They won’t be good, but I think they can win 5. (For what it’s worth, I took the under last season)
FWIW, I picked every game on the NFL schedule and had the Texans 3-14 tied for last in AFC South with Jacksonville.

I believe we're a solid 6-8 win team, but will split the difference and say 7-10. Believe we'll be much better than the pundits are predicting, but everything hinges on health, which is always a wildcard with football.
Dan "The Common Man" Cole on KFAN Mn Sports Radio had this to say about The Texans. "Everything is bigger in Texas, even the margin of victory for the other team."
EXACTLY - let's go !!! A competent coach, a talented QB, and a RB that let's you control the ball - shock the world tour 2022 baby! DD
6-11 I think this is going to be an especially whacky NFL year with some key people missing more time than usual. Given a ton of noise and surprises, betting on everyone being closer to 9-8 or 8-9 than their Vegas odds would tell you might be darn good bet. disclaimer: my NFL takes and predictions are easily the worst on this BBS. but anyway, I'm so glad it's time for Texans football -- well, not really the football, because I don't watch them, but bring on the Texan game threads!
