    Ok, it is that time of year again, we are coming off an undefeated preseason, we have a much better coach, and IMHO, a true difference maker at RB, which will help everyone out.

    So, what are your predictions, how many wins will the Texans get? And do you see them in the playoffs?

    I will start, with 17 games this year, I think they go 10-7 and get a wild card birth.

    Playoffs? Hell no. I do think they will improve over last season, and I’m putting money on the over this weekend. 5-6 wins.

    Texans will win no more than 4-6 games and Jack 'Littlefinger' Easterby, still lurking in the shadows of NRG Stadium, will maneuver to get Lovie Smith fired and bring in the coach he really wants next year - Josh McCown.

    What's fun about this season is that I don't even have a solid guess as to what the Texans record will be. Almost nothing would surprise me.

    They win 2 games? Yeah, I can see it.
    They win ten games? Unlikely, but possible.

    I think they have some games that show some real promise (like the Chargers game last year) and then some that are just real head scratchers. But overall they are going to be much better than the media pundits are predicting. I think they will win 7-9 games, so I'll take the middle and say their record will be 8-9.

    Pretty much this. I doubt it all falls apart but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did. I do think the Texans are not the worst team in the league(Seahawks, falcons, giants, jets are to me clearly worse) and will surprise, I could see them push for the playoffs if mills makes a big leap(fully possible), I think ultimately they’ll be somewhere in the 6-7 win range.
