Ok, ok it's time to break up this bro-fest... I have to agree with moe tho, Brown is def. in my top 5 and could end up in the top echelon of LTs this year but he's trumped by Long and Thomas not just for draft selection position or name familiarity but these guys are really just that good. I feel like our line performed well even after Schaub was well because they worked well as a collective unit, those other 2 guys have absolutely no help from their teammates when it comes to getting the job done.
All you need to know about the first 5 years of the franchise is summed up in this pictorial diary: Spoiler
One thing you need to know to be a Texans fan is that THE DALLAS COWBOYS SUCK!! Thats it they suck , all the time regardless of record team or past performance. If the Texans are not playing then your favorite team needs to be whoever is playing the Cowboys.
You know, I have no reason to hate the cowboys, they are not even a threat to the texans...it's mostly COWBOY FANS THAT DO THE SUCKING!
That's true. But I really don't think it's a debate whether or not Duane Brown is a top 5 LT. He didn't allow any sacks last year. That's with 3 different QB's and a 3rd string rookie.
Fat Albert ie Haynesworth. this man is a threat to our national security! look for "The Art of Battlefight" by kubiak to be released in the near future.
The Texans last season were division champs for the first time ever and the 3rd seed in the AFC despite being plagued with injuries to key players (QB, back up QB, star DE, and star WR). Our season hinged on the play of rookie 3rd string QB who took us to our first ever playoff win. We had a hard fought close loss to the heavily favored Ravens which knocked us out of the playoffs.
this play resulted in widespread mental depression in Houston <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BvsF6ObLUlM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
How successful are first rounders supposed to be? start in their first session type of good? And who are the key rookies this year?
