Me and Roommate $50-$120 every couple of weeks don't eat out much. Price matching and coupons at Walmart. When I bring those Fiesta weekly ads to price match they get pissed! 12 oranges for a $1, $0.23 a lb for Chicken Drumsticks just this week.
S/O and me. About $95 a week. Kroger. No coupons Also eat out a lot and above does not include my whey protein, fish oil and multivitamin as workout supplements
About 100-120 a week for me and my gf, at whole foods and heb. Note that we only buy organic(price). Whole foods has better prices(usually) and more variety for organic fruits and veggies, but for everything else heb usually has cheaper.
Groceries? We use a service for half our groceries and a private farm for the other half. Only organic and specific brands my wife insists on. Comes out to about $800-$900 twice a month (between 4-5 people in household depending as almost always have friends or family over for months at a time).
just me, I spend around $80-90/week. that includes grass fed meats, cheese and butter, 2 dozen organic eggs, regular (non-organic) vegetables, a pound of raw almonds, and various ingredients needed for recipes. less if I don't cook - but haven't eaten out since before the holidays.
For me and my SO, around $200-250 of worthless CAD per month. Though my SO's company provides both lunch and dinner.
Wife and I, about $400/month of actual food at Kroger and Costco. You can usually tack on another $100 for misc. non-food crap that comes up or stuff that we don't need from Target/Costco.
Family of 4: Me, my wife, my voracious 10-year-old son and my 8-month-old baby boy. Less than $100 per week. Shopping split between Kroger and Aldi. Only generic stuff unless we have coupons.
Family of 4 with wife and twin 4-year olds. Over $250/week. Kroger only, so we can get lots of fuel points. HEB in Kingwood is too crowded, you literally can't even get a parking spot. Reading through this thread, I'm pretty sure my wife over-shops. She stocks up on things we really don't need to stock up on. We are running out of room in our pantry and even had to buy a fridge for our garage (which is now full). We currently have about 4 gallons of laundry detergent in the garage...
After moving to Dallas, I decided I needed a lifestyle change. No more eating out for 2/3 of my meals if not all my meals every day. So far (this seems inflated because I have to buy things I normally wouldnt buy to get settled into my apartment up here) I've been averaging about $75-100/ week for my groceries. I don't cook much (yet) but am getting tired of deli meat sandwiches (starting to feel sick) every day. I eat a good amount due to habit, but looking to cut down intake. I don't know how you guys can go for $50/week on groceries, unless I am spoiling myself. Also, I am just now getting into the whole no preservatives thing. They have Krogers, Tom Thumb (Randall's), Walmart, Target, but no HEBs. They do have like 2 or 3 Central Markets but they are far away from me. I shop at Kroger, it's the closest to me. Also, it's just me, I do not have a wife/SO/kids.
