At some point we win 5 in a row convincing some of clutchfans that we are actually ready for the play-in/playoffs now. (Can’t believe this has actually happened the last two seasons….some people want to believe so hard)

 

impossible to say before the draft, free agency, and trades have occurred

they had better be in the 25-30 win range at the very least

there needs to be some genuine improvement in record, point differential, and offensive and defensive rating…anyone talking about yet another tank can miss me with that BS

 

This thread should be revisited after the draft and free agency. It's random guessing at this point.

 

How would anyone be able to guess at this point? We have no idea what the roster will be. Revisit in October.

If we keep Wood < 25
If we trade Wood and move up in the draft > 30

30 wins is a pipe dream. The Lakers had 33 wins last season while they were legitimately scraping to win every game they could with 3 top 75 all time players. Green or our 3rd pick would have to be a legit all star this year for that.

My guess is 22-25 range. We'll still be tanking for next year's pick with much of our player salaries dedicated to players who sit out back to backs or don't play much at all.

 

I think KPJ is going to have a monster year if Wood is traded. Green and Sengun will both improve on defense and offense if Wood is traded. It really comes down to the drat pick and trading Wood. If the pick is Ivey we will be tanking for sure. Any of the other three we will have a shot at thirty. The lakers are immaterial. We could have easily one five more games last year if we were trying.

 

the Lakers had massive injury issues and Westbrook…the measly Kings won 30 games just last year

 

Don't rule out a late surge while everyone else tanks for Wem-B.
