The Rockets finished the 2017-2018 season with the best record in the NBA.

We now sit near the very bottom, third from last with the league's most difficult schedule facing us, one starter out for at least a month, and our two newly acquired "stars" seemingly unable to stay on the court (and pretty much looking mediocre when they're out there).

I want to know who you think is MOST responsible for us going from best to worst in such a short time.

(For the purpose of this poll, I don't care how rosy you think our future is with Wood/KPJ/Tate and a bunch of maybe-good draft picks.)

I voted McGrady. But in all seriousness, some combination of bad luck, normal turnover, and Tilman.

I think anytime you get close, but don't win a championship, everybody gets antsy and impatient, and it is hard to just stay the course year after year. Harden looking for a better team may have been inevitable once we took our best shot and missed in 2018. Honestly, 8 years with the team is a pretty long run for a non-championship winning team. What other stars of Harden's caliber have stuck with one team longer without winning it all? In the recent era, maybe you could say Dirk. But the Mavs at least made the Finals in 2006 (and they have a better owner).

In the long run, maybe having it all explode so quickly and completely is better than if we had limped along for the next 5 years with Westbrook leading us to the 8th or 9th seed.

dumpster diving for scrubs and an obsession with avoiding the LT coming off a 65 win season and game 7 in the WCF was the catalyst for everything

Rockets have had a huge talent drain not just on the court, but in the front office as well

Rockets have gone from a mansion in the hills to begging for change and offering to clean windshields at the red light in just 3 years

    It has to be Tilman....

But I still think we could have beat GSW in the 2017 season, if it weren't for the combination of MDA, Morey, and Harden being so dogmatic.

Harden’s hold on the controls was the doomsday button. And detonate, it did.

Probably Les actually, selling the team to a "poor" billionaire.

I blame Wood and his tender ankles

I didn't see it as one of the choices.

Tillman driving out Morey, MDA, and pushing the WB trade puts him on top. After that it’s injuries combined with Wall forgetting how to lob pass and the the entire team forgetting how to shoot and play defense.

Team was doing quite well until Wood went down. I think that is a pretty significant detail

I blame Harden. He endorsed and pushed hard for trading away CP3 to get Westbrook. Then 1 year later he demands a trade and disses the team, show little effort.

If yall don't believe Tilman ran Harden, Morey and Dantoni out of town to save cash you're fooling yourselves.
